Turn homeowner interest into your next project.

Intent data helps identify people who may be researching a home improvement project. HD Precision turns those signals into a managed marketing campaign for your business—with a clear way for homeowners to request a quote.

Different projects. One managed approach.

What is intent data?

A clue that someone may be planning a project.

“Intent” means interest in doing something. Intent data uses available research signals to suggest which types of projects people may be considering. For your business, it helps focus marketing on a relevant audience in your service area.

You don’t need to buy a list and figure out what to do next. HD reviews the audience, prepares your message, coordinates outreach, and connects homeowners to a quote or inquiry page.

Think about a homeowner planning their next project.

They may be comparing options, researching costs, or looking for a contractor. Relevant intent signals can suggest interest in that kind of project.

After an audience and service-area review, an approved campaign can introduce your business with a postcard and a simple way to request a quote.

Illustrative example. We do not see each person’s exact search history, identify everyone researching, or know for certain who will buy.

An audience is a starting point. An inquiry is a response.

People in an intent audience have not necessarily contacted your company. The campaign helps them take that next step. Your team then confirms fit and follows up.

From project interest to your next conversation.

HD manages audience selection, setup, creative, coordinated outreach, and measurement. Your team owns the homeowner conversation and final project assessment.

  1. 01

    Notice relevant project interest.

Available research signals suggest interest in a home improvement project. These signals help define an audience; they are not a list of guaranteed customers.

  2. 02

Check the audience against your market.

We review available matches, your service area, the projects you want, and exclusions such as DIY supplies or unrelated services. Coverage needs confirmation for your market.

  3. 03

Put an approved campaign to work.

We prepare the creative and outreach. After setup and approval, new eligible matches can enter the automated daily mail workflow. Printing and postal delivery still take time.

  4. 04

Give homeowners a useful next step.

The postcard’s QR code takes the homeowner to your supported instant quote or included branded estimate-request page. Optional Meta and eligible email outreach can point to the same destination.

  5. 05

    Make the conversation yours.

Inquiries go to the approved destination for your business. Your team follows up, confirms the project, and arranges the estimate or consultation.

  6. 06

    Connect responses to the campaign.

Unique mailer links and inquiry tracking help connect visits and requests to outreach. A QR scan alone does not prove who scanned it or that a sale happened.

Artificial Turf:
a project they can picture.

An approved turf postcard example shows how a residential lawn, pet area, or putting-green message can lead into your quote journey. Company details and offers are reviewed for each campaign.

A clear next step is included.

Your campaign includes a clear next step for homeowners: an existing instant-quote experience where supported, or a contractor-branded lead-generation landing page included with your service.

An existing instant quote.

Use a supported quote experience to help homeowners explore their project and request the next step. Final measurements, scope, and pricing remain subject to your verification.

Existing quote products cover roofing, gutters, artificial turf, fencing, and pressure washing. Each industry page pairs its campaign creative with the corresponding quote experience.

An included branded inquiry page.

For trades without a supported instant quote, your campaign includes a contractor-branded landing page. Homeowners can describe their project, request an estimate or consultation, and contact your team.

Your branding, service area, approved contact options, and inquiry tracking create a clear next step from every channel.

Built for one next step:
“Let’s talk about my project.”

Your homeowner page presents the project clearly and makes it easy to get in touch. This is included with campaigns without an existing supported instant quote.

  • Your contractor branding and relevant project messaging
  • A mobile-friendly page with an estimate or consultation call to action
  • A short homeowner form and approved contact options
  • Your verified service area
  • Actual contractor photos and trust details when supplied
  • Attribution and inquiry tracking connected to your approved lead destination

  1. Show the service. Actual contractor photos and supplied trust details.
  2. Ask what matters. Project type, service location, contact details, and optional timing.
  3. Connect the inquiry. Route it to your approved lead destination.

Final scope and pricing come from your contractor. The example is an outline, so it does not collect homeowner information.

A different QR link.
A clearer connection.

A variable QR code is a unique link printed on each recipient’s mailer. The postcard design can stay the same while the link changes from piece to piece.

When someone scans it, the visit can be connected to that mailer. A completed inquiry can then be connected to the same campaign.

A scan identifies a mailed link, not necessarily the person using it. Shared mailers and untracked responses affect attribution. A scan alone does not prove a sale.

Your message can travel together.

Direct mail introduces the project. Optional Meta ads and eligible email outreach can reinforce the same message and point to the same quote or inquiry page.

Meta management · $350/month

Use the same source audience on Facebook and Instagram. Matching and ad delivery vary; not every mailed household will match or see an ad. Advertising spend is additional.

Email campaign · $150/month

Use eligible email contacts from the same source audience, with appropriate permissions and unsubscribe handling. Having an email address alone does not establish permission to send.

They visited.
Keep the conversation going.

Someone can explore your website and leave without filling out a form. Website Visitor Retargeting helps you build follow-up audiences from eligible visits.

A tracking pixel is a small piece of code added to your site. It helps register visits. With visitor matching, some visits can be connected to available contact or household information—even when the visitor does not submit a form.

Optional add-on: $350/month

One visit can lead to another opportunity to be seen.

  • Mailers: follow up when an eligible postal address can be matched.
  • Meta ads: build an audience for Facebook and Instagram, subject to platform matching and delivery.
  • Email: follow up with eligible matched contacts when appropriate permissions are in place.

Some visitors cannot be matched. We review your website setup, available data, privacy choices, and channel eligibility before activation. A matched email address alone does not establish permission to send.

The $350 monthly option is separate from mailer costs, Meta management and ad spend, and the optional email campaign. No tracking is installed or outreach started by this inquiry.

A few good questions.

What does “intent data” actually mean?

It is information that suggests someone may be researching a type of project. For example, available signals may indicate interest in hiring a contractor for a home improvement project. We use those signals to build and review a relevant marketing audience. They do not reveal each person’s exact searches, cover everyone researching, or guarantee a purchase.

Is an intent audience the same as a lead?

No. Someone in an audience has not necessarily asked your company for a quote. A lead is someone who responds and shares their project or contact details. The campaign gives people a reason and a clear way to take that step.

Does daily mailing mean same-day delivery?

No. Once an approved campaign is configured, eligible new matches can enter the daily mail workflow. Production and postal schedules determine delivery. We do not promise that a postcard arrives the day someone shows interest.

Can Meta and email reach the same people?

Optional Meta management is $350/month, plus advertising spend. It uses the same source audience as mail, subject to platform matching and delivery. Optional email is $150/month and only uses eligible contacts with appropriate permissions. Not every mailed household can be reached through every channel.

Is this HD Workspace?

This is HD’s managed marketing service. HD Workspace is the separate roofing software and property-intelligence product, currently focused on Texas and Florida with local coverage checks. Choosing a managed campaign does not automatically include Workspace access or roofing-specific intelligence for other trades.

What is the website tracking pixel option?

Website Visitor Retargeting is an optional $350/month add-on, separate from Meta management. A small tracking tag on your site helps register eligible visits. Visitor matching can connect some visits to contact or household information, even without a form submission. Available matches can support mail, Meta and eligible email follow-up. Matching is not guaranteed, and setup, permissions and channel eligibility must be reviewed. Mailers, Meta management and ad spend, and email campaign fees remain separate.

Do I need an instant-quote tool?

No. Where a supported instant-quote experience already exists, we can use it. Otherwise, your managed campaign includes a contractor-branded landing page that helps homeowners request an estimate or consultation.

Is the landing page included?

Yes. For campaigns without an existing supported instant-quote experience, a contractor-branded lead-generation landing page is included with the managed service. It is a focused campaign destination; it does not include a full business website, unlimited revisions, or custom estimating software.
